The oddest times in life are when you try to change. It is the hardest, awkwardest, and most unfulfilling times because you will be tested, have to humbly come back and apologize, as well as wait the scrutiny when you fail just once. The thing is this odd time doesn’t have to be the worst time, because if you understand the importance of transitioning, you can accept the awkwardness of it.
From loss of self™ to healing myself, I found that I made a lot of mistakes, was yelled at for doing the wrong thing, and beat myself up for years because I almost blew-up all of my efforts at times. Do you relate? Have you tried your best, but it just seems to get foiled by something in life, getting you to go backwards? Well if so, you aren’t alone, and the reason is because if you can feel down about your errors, you stop your progress, and stopping progress means you won’t become better.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the war of light and dark is not about daily actions, but the overall emotions that affect your soul and spirit. It is the negativity that you allow in, which stops love, encouragement, knowledge, and compassion from being the light to show another a better way. When you have dead spirits and souls like today, the morality goes down the drain, creating a world where “nothing matters”. It is selfish, self-centered, and egotistical, creating a chaos that nobody knows where the start is. The war of light is to connect, encourage, and bring hope to our neighbors as they too are going through struggles.
The reason that love is so important besides enhancing the light’s ability in this war, is that on a smaller scale, it is what creates the moments of compassion, to allow our mistakes to be cared for. In caring for our mistakes we can forgive, feel loved, and be more apt to change. Sometimes people won’t change because they can’t see this perspective, so the compassion received is pushed off as “weak”. The truth is, weakness isn’t a threat to be attacked. In your odd times of transitions, as the negative tries to pull you backwards, keep moving forward. Tell yourself all the positives about yourself, and know that you have to make mistakes so that you can work and prove you truly want this change for yourself and others.
Take time today to see what you have been held down by with negativity in your life, and see if these aren’t the areas that are the strongest, or affect the strongest part of who you are. If you find it, then see if you can take this new perspective on how to approach fighting your war of light and dark. Even during the oddest times, you have a choice. I am here to help, so reach out/directly respond to this, but if not, keep fighting as you are changing, because right on the other side of these battles are your new paths to a better life.
