How many times do you want to discuss God, but you are so concerned about what they call it, Him, them, or if they believe? For some reason, our human desire to be so distinct, not by our birthrights, but by society, causes us to fear these depths of disconnect. We could relate, would relate, want to relate, but we cannot because of fear we will offend, dismantle a relationship, or worse end up alone!
Today, you will see that it is not always a horrible thing to see things differently because if you take out a lot of personal points, we all are believing in the same God. I think this is such an important topic for me because when I aid people, I use <<THM>>TM Theocentric (God centered)-Holistic (dealing with mind, body, spirit) Metaphysics (all that is and believed as well as is not, or the unseen). This is what makes my practice proprietary! A lot of the time people get caught when they hear God because of negative experiences, but I am about to show you my viewpoint from John…
‘John, there must be one man to hear these things from me; for I need one who is ready to hear. This cross of light is sometimes called logos by men for your sakes, sometimes mind, sometimes Jesus, sometimes Christ, sometimes a door, sometimes a way, sometimes bread, sometimes seed, sometimes resurrection, sometimes Son, sometimes Father, sometimes Spirit, sometimes life, sometimes truth, sometimes faith, sometimes grace; and so it is called for men’s sake.
But what it truly is, as known in itself and spoken to us, is this: it is the distinction of all things, and the strong uplifting of what is firmly fixed out of what is unstable, and the harmony of wisdom being wisdom in harmony.”
(Barnstone, 2005, p. 419)

For so many, this should truly aid in bridging our communication when dealing with God, the Universe, the collective of what we are a part of. For me, I will admit, not using the name God is hard and uncomfortable for me, but in compassion, we must all realize that things are uncomfortable at first, but relating to others helps merge and see the bigger picture, that we are all made out and for LOVE!
As you will further see, love is the guiding principle in this universe, it is the rational principle that governs and develops the universe, and it is meant to force us to give of oneself, as you will learn in my 30 Day Journey from the Core 4 Journeys, Ahava “Love”!

John then continues to further our understanding of love by saying,
“You must know me, then as the torment of the logos, the piercing of the logos, the blood of the logos, the wounding of the logos, the fastening of the logos, the death of the logos. And so I speak, discarding the manhood. The first then that you must know is the logos, then you shall know the Lord; and thirdly the man, and what he has suffered.”
(Barnstone, 2005, p. 420)

So, remember that before the cross of light can be called logos, and here you see it so wildly used, so what does this mean for you, and how you can move forward in love, or just heal from the traumatic events life threw at you, as you forgot where you left your true self? Logos is actually Greek for “word”, so if you replace it you can see the value of words- words torment, pierce you, make your blood boil/ready to give your life, wounds you, holds you tightly in negativity or positivity, and it can kill you. Does logos also remind you of something else…like love?
If you replace these same words with love it reads as such- love torments, love pierces you, love makes your blood boil/ready to give your life, love wounds you, love holds you tightly whether negative or positive, love can also kill you literally or figuratively (depending on age). So it says, first you must know logos, which is WORDS ARE POWERFUL AND HOLD POWER. Then it says you shall know the Lord second, which is that WORDS ARE LOVE & AFFECT LOVE. Thirdly is states, once you understand these two main points, you can then bring it back to man to know what he has suffered, meaning PEOPLE WILL BE TORMENTED, PAINED, READY TO GIVE ONESELF, BE HURT, BE HELD, AND DIE WHEN IT COMES TO TRUE LOVE. The second meaning of this is, that the cross of light, whichever of the names we previously listed and you use, also suffered in the same way because they loved, Jesus loved, God loved us so much words were used to begin this cycle of pain because nothing changes us more.
There are 8 levels of loves (view in this post), and any of these levels change us, but The Acts of John proves that we were all loved enough, risking these situations, for us to want to help, connect, and be better towards others. For those who want to know about deaths of loved ones, they too are still around, and I will write a new post here for this in specific. For those who are ready, go into the world knowing it is love, full of love, full of words, full of power, be wiser in your thoughts for they come out your mouth. Be smarter with your tongue, for it brings life. Be smarter in your life, for it brings change in this world, so be the change you wish to see, and fill your heart with the logos, the power, the love, and know, no matter what words used, the light of the cross will carry us all together like a bridge of hope!
