The beauty of silence is as wonderful as seeing a firefly, hearing the hum of the crickets, or the whisper of the wind, but it seems that you can only find so much silence in nature. In love, life, and relationships silence takes another form, in conversation. At times when we talk to each other we just need to be. Not find the next comment, but stare into the soul through the eyes, and hear, or feel, what that person is talking about.
Many times I have just heard, listening for my trigger, and reacting like a striking serpent in heated discussions, but with time, I found that this doesn’t work. What works is sitting in the love of silence, the life of being in the moment, and embracing the ups and downs of natural relationships. In business you can find the same things, and that is the beauty of silence and peace again. In these more serious partnerships, this is where setting your ego aside is the most important.
To not be met with ego, but compassion is the firefly, lighting up one’s path to compromise. The hum of the crickets is the positive energy that is flowing through your mind as you pensively focus on your desired outcomes, and the whisper of the wind is hearing the AC/Heater go on during the moments. Nature can be found in life too, but if you are too busy focusing on the physical and reactive state of life, you will miss it. Today, challenge yourself to live as if you are in nature constantly during romantic, platonic, or even broken relationships. Find your way of living out nature through authentic healthy responses, and be the beacon of light so many can use to change their ways within the world.
