“The words of a double-tongued man be as simple; and they come unto the inner things of the womb.”
Proverbs 18:8
Be careful who you talk to about thing where your hope, dreams, and fears reside. I think it is safe to say we all want the world to suppprt us, but it seems those closest discourage us with their comments.
Being aware of who you are sharing woth can help you hold that fire, inspiration, and glee. It can allow you: more time to develop ways to combat critical comments, more joy to hold you over longer and visualize your dream coming true, as well as something to enhance your life with if only for a moment if you find holes in your plan.
Sharing with anyone can cause a simple word to spiral everything out of control. You may be met with someone who says yes it is great to you, then talks poorly about it to another and you fins out. It may be they say, “uh” after listening, suggest ALL their discovered flaws in your plan, say “maybe” before they reaponse, or they just ignore your statement in a way.
These low key comments have the ability to shatger joy and fester within your gut. You may begin questioning your idea and unfortunately a lot of us end our calling. So quick reminder:
- Take 30 seconds before or after you share to focus on life around you
- Hold tight to your truths, no matter what is said
- Remember it is YOUR journey, not everyone may understand!
