Have you ever noticed how the world rejects God until there is an emergency? Until the Twin Towers are falling, and then they want to say, “God Bless”, or there is nothing more that can be done? See, right now there is an influx in satan’s public presence from a woman ripping the Bible in front of a group of people, to celebrities saying “hail satan”, the float in Brazil with satan theme, and more. The heightened awareness of satan has even infiltrated hotels, as they rent to groups that set up satanic chapels where you can reject the Bible and follow satan, but worst of all is that people are going away from God due to several reasons , so I want to discuss a few things that may clear up some misconceptions.

To begin I want to share my research on who satan is and how he got where he is.

So satan was a high ranking angel, some say a son of God, and when God decided to make the human, God asked the angels to praise the humans (Psalms 8:5). Satan had been over many angels, and was not okay with doing this so he left. God sent Gabriel after him and told him that God wanted him to come back and do this, but satan was filled with jealousy, ego issues, and emotions, stating he wouldn’t and would accept being kicked out of heaven. So those left in heaven that were under satan’s rule, had the ability to follow God, or go with satan, being kicked out heaven- some left.

Now since we have a general idea of how satan got to destroying people on earth, let’s talk about his role with Adam and Eve. So, if you were a major angel that just got kicked out of heaven because you didn’t want to praise humans, and the only place to go was earth, where they were in paradise, what would you want to do in ego, anger, and emotion? I feel I would want to mess them up too! When reading the Wycliffe Bible in Gensis, the humans were made on the 6th day with unreasonable beasts, but not with “living souls” which were made on the 5th. To me, I find this interesting because as unreasonable beasts (with natural animalistic instincts as some say), satan came down to the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This tree was the one thing that would have them perceiving the world around them differently. He took his shot, and won, but as we all know, that ego based victory did nothing, but upset him more in the long run because it didn’t change his situation as being kicked out of heaven, so this would explain why this evil doing is still happening.

Yes, there are limits to what is handled by following Jesus and God, but there also is a verse saying how you gain more with honey (Proverbs 16:24), and as a Christian have you been using honey or chastising? So, back to the title, how is God important? My short answer is, He is there when we need Him, He constantly awaits us to call on Him, and He is life through all he He has created. Here are my points and counters to what I have found with the satan believers:

The funny thing is that satan is still allowed in heaven if he is accompanied by angels, and requested by God (as in Job); he even has to answer God. In Job it is continues to entertain as God asks satan what he has been doing and he replies nonchalantly that he has been destroying earth’s people, and now here we are with people publicly praising him, and God always being chastised, and in honesty, there are two sides to this story. The people of the church have chastised the people of earth because of what they were told to do in regards to spreading the word, converting, and such, making others feel bad, unheard and unloved to the point they were pushed away from the idea of church. It was never God that did this. See, so many people go to Sunday service, listen to what the preacher says, and never do anything more for themselves, not even act like God. Now, people have been pushed so far, and satan has been promoted as freedom from God, and they are going. They are going towards ego based, selfish, and negative emotional ways because the guiding principle of God, love, has not been shown to them, and under satan they are showing each other love, acceptance, and support. So what can you do to help balance this? Show love, be patient, be grateful to everyone, share your opinion based on belief, and state that God has the final say. Jesus is the word, logos, and His name has power, so live as He lived on earth, and know that these Lost Souls are the same as back in the Biblical days. The question that I would like to promote is, if the people in the sinning cities were saved because less than 10 people believed, what could happen if we, as a church (blurring the defining lines of denomination), moved to lovingly change the world and live in the freedom, love, and acceptance (of another’s spiritual journey) that satan followers have shown?
