If I could un-invent something it would be fear. I think that fear really gets a hold of people and causes them to lose their light, stop loving or giving others a chance, as well as creates hatred.
Recently, I have seen two social posts that hurt my insides because they were directly related to me. The first was about how a pastor wouldn’t condone interracial marriages. It was baffling to me because the Bible takes place in Africa, Iraq, Armenia (just within Genesis), and in Egyptian paintings you can see that dark skin people were there. It is like people believe that black people were just discovered, or a gene mutated them into existence, but the problem with that notion is, if black people were fabricated into existence and not the beginning, why can they make every color on the melanin spectrum, but others cannot?
If you felt hurt by this, I apologize, but I am white and black, and to hear people say that mixing of races is wrong, it is like saying that the love people share should be compartmentalized, and that was NOT God’s nor Jesus’ message. Yes, they were suppposed to marry within distant family, and Jesus came for the Israelites first, but the world was filled, and since from Noah’s lineage were similar. I mean if you look at descriptions of God in Revelations, he is said to be of Jasper and Saridus stone or burnt copper. Then if you look at Songs of Solomon (aka: Songs of Songs), the girl says her skin is dark like it was burn from the sun. If you look at how they describe some people they say ruddy (reddish). To you it may not be big, but to me this was one of the two hurtful things that I heard recently.
The second, is that God is just made up and fictional. I have heard this before, referencing Him as the man in the sky, but I just don’t understand why snickering and harsh sarcasm has to join. To me, God is not replaceable because He is in everything and is of everything (energy), which is why nothing really has something, or nothing is just the lack of something. So for instance, if you are sad, that just means you lack happiness. All the negatives are just the removal of positives, which means you are able to fix these dispositions. I have watched time stop, heard angels, known what only God could show me of another’s life, and have been led on countless adventures to the truth of what is in the Bible. You know, back in the day, churches and others used to weaponize and mislead by selling “tickets” to heaven, create havoc for those who didn’t believe, and struck fear, but that was MAN! The truth isGod never tricked people, He warned, and then He destroyed, or proved everyone wrong. The fear that I wish was un-invented is man’s intervention of discouraging love, peace, and a place that we can all just be on our own spiritual journey to find our true selves through self-awareness, interconnectedness [maybe spelled that wrong- sorry], and understanding that we are all here for a purpose so fear would never be a possibility.
