Today, I want to share how consistency allows you to develop a new path and lead a new life. I think that it is fair to say that when we begin journeys, we think it is going to be great, perfect, and we are going to love it, but somewhere along the way, we realize that it is not that great. We see that life is not happening the way we want, and we decide to recreate. I know I have done this several times, and this morning, I am considering this cycle again.
I have heard that all inventions are to make life easier, but why? Why do we as people, or a society, keep looking for easy? Instead of looking for a new way to do things with new items, why don’t we readjust what we do have and make life easy from that? So for instance, if I want to send my child to private school, instead of criticizing it because I can’t afford it, or saying it won’t happen because of what I see in the physical realm, why don’t I start adjusting my mindset to what can I do to save money, asking, how can I get more money, and what skills can I utilize?
In being consistent, you have to know your why because you are doing it repeatedly. In my scenario this morning, I miss writing more, but on the other hand, I am able to get a lot more done by writing once a week. As I consider my desires, I also consider your needs, and to ensure I am not being overbearing, I make my life “easier”, by using outlets that I have better. I have made the decision to use my creative skills, to supplement my desire for writing through Pinterest, Instagram, and the Newsletter, so I can reach more people as I share my passion.
As your relationships, business, or loss of self™ may cause this scenario to seem like a breeze, know each day, you can make it a little “easier” too. In sticking to your goal(s), each day you have the ability to try a new path. Each day you can know that no matter when you start it will always seem hard, but your transition is worth it. In knowing this, you can start to build your lifestyle (14days) again. You will be able to forge forward, stay in control, and know there are many roads, but there is help, and a God that is always guiding your way.
