It doesn’t matter how many risk vs. worth analysis you do if you or your business don’t know who you truly are.
This was a topic I recently covered on another platform, and the honesty in this statement can stop anyone in their tracks. In loss of self™ you know “you” is still in there, but the ability to bring it back out is hard. You want to change, but then the fear of being pained hinders your progress. You want more, but life keeps showing you can’t or you aren’t worth it. It is a positioning that makes one want to just give up, sit down, and just focus on the small things- or even nothing at all.
I believe though, that you don’t have to just sit down, and if you do, do it for am moment. I believe that if you have a choice, you need to give yourself time and space to look at the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual risks that are at hand, and see if making that choice is worth it. Taking your time to stop, listen to your inner voice, and then move in alignment with who you want to be, as well as who you were made to be, should take form naturally. Giving yourself a time-limit not only maintains your control. but gives you stability and progress, so that means it is worth it.
So many of us just choose things in life in hopes of finding what feels like “you”. The truth is, that if someone asked who “you” is, you would not know how to answer them. It is not the job title you have. It is no the responsibilities. It’s not the desires or appearances, but “you” is the purpose that you have on this planet, and if you don’t know, then you honestly are lacking in direction. In loss of self™ direction leads back to your identity, and getting to know who “you” is without objection. This rediscovery process is what clarifies your path to make those choices at hand faster and more impactful.
In this life, nobody was a mistake, no past cannot be used for your future, and all decisions can be corrected my another. It is hard to process in a world full of definitives, but the only definite is that you have made up your mind that it is definite. If you believe in God, then you know He can change whatever, whenever, and with whomever; if you choose the word universe/higher power, it is still changing. If you don’t believe in God, then just a reminder, He believes in you- you too were not a mistake. We are all here for a purpose, and if you are met with a choice, take your time to decide within the risk vs. worth analysis, but not based on emotions, but who you were meant to be.
